George,
I use 432 as an IF also. Frequency is most usually 10368.100 for 10GHz
and 24192.100 for 24GHz. If you have 47GHz and up you are on you own
SSB and horz polarty are the norm.

as far as liason, we have used 2m SSB, FM HT's, 432 SSB, and cellphones.
Using cell phones is super easy for two stations, but harder to coordinate
for many. Bring your HT's or mobile 2m FM radios if you have them.

Bring a GPS if you have one! This is a "gotta have" item, unless you want to
use
an aero map. All we have to do is move 10 miles at a time.

Bring an umbrella. They help too. Fortunately it has been a cool summer.

Gentlemen,

So we all can travel as light as possible and not get frustrated on what
could be a very very HOT day, and for us first timers, we need to decide and
have clear to all parties what BAND, FREQUENCY, MODE, and POLARITY is going
to be used to coordinate the activity. We may not break any DX records' but
much fun can be had by all, if I don't sun stroke. For the one person I care
a lot about, please help ME not start drinking beer for survival instead of
pleasure. Two givens are probably: Mode-SSB, Polarity-Horz.

Since I'm using 432 as my IF, I like 2 Meters. But again, that's me again. I
hate selfish people.
