ok ,simple and cheap gps not possible because then it's inaccurate andwont  
muster up to are you really at the grid corner or not, best positioning 
realized cud be out to 100 meters because of dod spoofing .
best way is known lat long on published points that are fixed on the surface 
or a previsit to the site with precision gps     ,  yes i make maps for a 
living     ke4wbo
gps is my profession
