[FLWSS] (no subject)

Many of you know of W4DEX for his VHF to microwave interests to 24 GHz. Some 
of us have worked him on the various bands. He is a real radio man being 
active at the LF end of the spectrum as well as all frequencies in between these 
two extremes. I have in the past copied his Part 15 beacon in the 1750 meter 
band. He holds an experimental license for 2200 meters and 600 meters as well. 
Last night and again this morning I copied him well on 600 meters, 507.5 and 506 
kHz with very good signals. While not within the interests of the FLWSS group 
some of our experimental types may want to listen on 600 meters for DEX and 
others. There is a move to try to get this band assigned to the amateur service 
as the maritime users vacated the band several years ago. For more info go
