FLWSS Meeting Summary August 18,2007

To those who didn't come, you missed a hot one at KI4NPV's QTH. 
We were able to have a number of operational 10GHz stations on the air.
It wasn't quite the 20m pileup but a good showing. 

NN4AA was able to give a presentation on image rejection caveats and how to
work
around RF mixing issues.

K4HV showed what Coax Seal really is(windshield sealer) and brought in a
cheaper 
substitute from Auto Zone. It's available for $7.99 in a much larger 15'
roll.
It's known as Ribbon Sealer and is used for replacement car windshields.

We had a number of smaller sidebar discussions on many different topics.

10GHz gear checkout was a success. Four of us roved over to W2BZY's QTH and 
made some contacts. Unfortuntely the temps by that time were beginning to
soar
to the upper 90's (95-100F) Nearly everyone was able to make a few official
contacts
for the contest before calling it a day.
