[FLWSS] Hamcation Meeting Summary

Glad to see everyone at Hamcation this year. We had a very large turnout.
Apologies again for technical difficulties on the projector. Next time we'll
just do it the old fashioned way. 

Elections for 2007 were K4HV President, K0VXM Vice President, K4AHO
Sec./Treas.
Door prize winners were NN4AA, W4RCC, and N2WB

Next meeting will be at KI4NPV's (PyroJoe's)QTH in Longwood, FL. Definitely
a more
central location for most of us.

I forgot one thing. I've been seeing quite a few tower sections for
sale at hamfests. Please check carefully to make sure they are NOT bent even
the slightest. They probably sustained hurricane damage when they fell and
people
are trying to sell these off.

These sections should be scrapped due to structural fatigue. They cannot be
straightend
out. Don't risk your life trying to put bent tower sections up no matter how
cheap they are.
