Subject: weather for today
According to the National Weather Service Melbourne and the Florida
Division of Emergency Management Chief Meteorologist...
There is a Hazardous Weather Outlook for tonight and during the day
tomorrow. A low pressure is forecasted to develop over the southeast
Gulf of Mexico today. This will lift a warm front into Central Florida
during the day. It is still uncertain when the system will reach Orange
County. This front has the potential to bring severe thunderstorms and
rotation in weather patterns. This means it is capable of producing
strong wind gusts and the possibility of tornadoes. These conditions
will be very similar to those which caused the recent devastating
tornadoes in Lake County.
Please pass this information on to your co-workers and family. Please
make sure your NOAA weather radios are operating tonight before going to
bed in case warnings are issued by the National Weather Service. We
will continue to monitor the system, and will issue Situation Alerts as
necessary.
