Cheaper is often better!

I have thought of a way to reduce the cost of 10 GHz WBFM equipment.
Use an IF frequency of 10.7 MHz.  All of the common filters are already
on this frequency.  By using 10.7 MHz, no 40.7 MHz oscillator is needed
to move the standard 30 MHz IF to 10.7 MHz.  That crystal is expensive.
So don't use it!!
