Hi All!

My wife and I appreciate you all coming down to visit last Saturday. We had a great day enjoying your company.

The Mar 6 (not quite) devices were characterized by Kent Britain, in the 2004 MUD Proceedings on page 263. For those of you who picked up a few and those who still might want some, here is a summary of Kent's report:

Unity gain 4 GHz, 8dB at 3 GHz.
50 mHz 1000 mHz
bias ma Gain NF Gain NF (gain,NF in dB)
 10 12.5 2.5 9.9 2.6
 20 20 2. 0 12.5 2.2

 90 22.9 2.5 13.8 2.7
100 23.0 2.7 13.4 2.9

Saturated Power Output (dBm)
current (ma) 50 mHz 1000 mHz 2000 mHz
20 3 5 2
40 14 12 4
50 17 13 6
75 18 12 8
100 20 11 5

Kent recommends 20-30 ma idle current for low noise figure and 40-50 ma for power with 60 as a design max.

I am thinking of using them as down converter mixer followers.

John the elder K2STO BTW I still have a fifty or more.
