This one was wash for me. I got sweaty, hot, and nothing to show for it. I
got excited enough Saturday to arrange cables and pulleys to get the tripod
and dish up on the tower (130 ft. ASL). Expectations were high early Sunday
morning but nothing. I could not contact Joe or Chuck. My reward was only to
take it all back down. I even went out this evening looking for thunder
storms. Not a thing to the North East or even a breeze. After midnight, all
hell will probably break loose.

There is a word for day like this.

Does anyone know the frequency for the 10 GHz beacon in SC or NC?
