I have and article from a 1972 "The Radio Amateur's VHF Manual", page 115
that has a 4 page article for a grounded grid 3-500z. No power supply
schematic except for the filament. It has a grounded 3/8" copper tubing tank
coil with a shorted-turn tuning ring inside the tank circuit. No plate
tuning capacitor used. This amp has very few parts. 30W in for 750W PEP out.
