Hi all,

Thanks to everyone that took time to work us in the Jan contest.

Steve and I had a good time and got reasonably lucky with the weather.
Most all equipment worked well (except the computers!)

We worked 41 unique stations, Activated 6 grids, 140 QSOs and worked 50 Grids, Operated 10 bands.
Total Score 16,800

I would like to second Steve's comments on Recent Chatter on the reflector. I don't think any of us (myself included) put enough effort and energy into the tough weak contacts (as Bill Seabreeze used to say "Listen for the weak ones"). Although we did manage to make a 3456 contact over 130 miles even with this flat Florida terrain (I sure missed the 3850 foot high hills of New England, but not the cold and snow!), we did not make any long contacts on 5 or 10. Maybe with a bit more effort we could.
