One of the idea I would like to float out there in advance is maybe building a bunch of SoftRock receivers. Info can be found
here; http://www.amqrp.org/kits/softrock40/ The designers are currently working on a version 5.

Since the software is free this would be an easy basis for your own spectrum analyzer or monitoring receiver. Just add converters for the bands you wish to cover. We can discuss this and any other idea you might have for a club project at Hamcation.

Considerations are;

Cost
Time to complete
Design Time (if any)

Walt, Could we have a discussion about a club project sometime during the meeting in Orlando? I don't have anything particular in mind but I'm sure there must be something or a couple of things that the majority of the group would like to do and or achieve. SO--- how about everyone n the group think about this one and we talk at the meeting. See you all then! Steve
