Graham,
Nice to know that CPI reprinted the orginal Eimac Book. I have a Eimac copy and it is great! What does the CPI version go for in $?

>gm ,In my earlier posts i was discussing how to match the input of a tube correctly ,by experimentation mostly here ,but always wanted to be able to do some math to get closer before soldering a bunch or unsoldering if the idea didn't work. I found a book that is free from CPI(originally Eimac) for those that don't know or would like to know called " Care and Feeding of power grid tubes " I ordered this along with some tube spec sheets online from the CPI site it was mailed out within 1 week. A small book but has all the formulas for tubes you can imagine and nomographs for lower frequency rf-audio . This 1 is a reprint 2003 but good info.here is the link >>>>http://www.cpii.com/division.cfm/9The old philco radio repair training manuals have same information if you can find the full set, about 12 volumes of large print easy to read books starting at ohms law volume 1 and building from there. 73 ke4wbo
