[FLWSS] UHF contest

Hello All,


I have returned from out-of-town work, and now preparing for the ARRL
UHF contest.  Unfortunately, I am available only on Sunday of the
contest, from about 6:30 am until the end of the contest.  


BTW, I plan to put in my 1296 phemt preamp, a modification of the ssb
electronics preamp by me and Steve, n2cei.  The preamp is much
improved with an easy to get phemt replacement of the obsolete (and
expensive) mgf 1302!  I plan to write-up the modification for
others who may find it useful.


QRV through 3456mhz.

This weekend is the ARRL UHF contest. It runs from 2 PM Sat. to 2 PM
Sun. and covers 222 and up. My best performance has been 57 QSO's and
this year I would like to see if I can do 100 QSO's. To do that I will
need a lot of help from a lot of folks. So please get on the air this
week end and help some old fart get his jollies. Look for me on
144.200, 432.100 and/or 1296.100 and we will run any other bands from
there.
