Hi All,

Chuck noted that April has had the second highest monthly number of VHF+
openings at his place in Central Florida. And, it looks like things are
starting to warm up in the Southeast.

I'm going to be at our place near the Outer Banks from March 29 to about
April 11 or 12 and looking around on 144.200 daily at about 7AM, 8:30AM,
and 8PM+. I have about 350w on 2m, and 100w on 432, and 10w on 1296. I'll
have my 10GHz 200mw portable unit with me if anyone wants to try that band.
If you see some really good propagation and think you can make it to FM14ux,
(just north of Beaufort, NC) and want to give it a try, please give me a
call. (Sorry, no internet access at this location, yet)

If we have a real good opening, I can go mobile, FM15ua is only a mile up
the road.

I will try to get into the Charlotte area 432 net in the AM and on Weds
nights.

And, I'll be listening and calling for W4WHN & W4FF & the Florida group in
the mornings around 8-8:30 on 144.200 or 144.190.

There has been a few of us VHF'ers meeting up on Channel 4, 5371.5 usb, 60
meters. I will probably be listening there most of the time while traveling
up and down the coast and while working on our cottage at Cedar Island.
(Channel 4 is sometimes busy, and we QSY to Channel 2).

Hope to work as many stations as possible.
